How much is too much Grand Theft Street Fighter?

psn.jpgIn reality, no one should ever complain about more game choices. With that in mind, I & II as well as Alpha are rumored to be coming to the ’s PSN sometime soon. This is all according to England’s Official PlayStation Magazine. Of course, that is England’s version of the magazine, and not the official PlayStation magazine of England.

No one should ever complain about more game choices, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anyone will care. In fairness to GTA I & II, they are both excellent games that laid the groundwork for the future blockbuster franchise. They are hardly the games most people know and love, though. Prepare for massive disappointment if you go into these games with little background knowledge.

The same cannot be said for Alpha. For the most part, fighting games tend to age very well. With the exception of some early 3D brawlers, you will still find plenty of people playing almost any classic 2D fighting game. Still, this isn’t the that most people want on PSN. That would be the high-definition remix of II. That, of course, is not to be confused with the truly bizarre Street Fighter Online. Nor should it be confused with the forthcoming IV. Is this all a bit too much ? Perhaps.
