home.jpgSony’s is that rarest of beasts. Somewhat equivalent to the Loch Ness Monster, one worries that they’re either on the cusp of a great discovery, or just a log in the water. Sony is starting to show some real meat to their service, though, as they’ve announced exclusive Content through for three of their biggest titles.

Warhawk will allow players to meet in a war room inside of before playing it. There, they will be able to use a sand table map of each level to plot strategies. Once ready, players will be able to jump straight into the game. And yes, this is a feature through , not simply a new one through Warhawk. So, you could always go bowling at the last minute, too.

Resistance: Fall of Man and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be getting unique features of their own. Gamers will be able to take their avatars into the games and walk around unpopulated levels exploring and making note of the level design. will allow players to see never-before-seen portions of the game and discover radio transmissions that further expand the storyline. , on the other hand, will toss in a 2D Contra-style shooter playable through .

Does that seem like a lot? It should. When Sony originally announced it seemed like it would simply be a place to display game won trophies and dress up avatars in a Second Life sort of environment. Now it feels like it is evolving into a true gaming world. If Sony can truly pull all of this together in a fairly seamless manner, then Microsoft may truly have something to worry about. Xbox Live just seems so antiquated next to it.
