Want to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl online, but have no friends? Not really the sociable type to go out and make friends? Well, the Internet has a solution for your anti-social behavior, again!
MapWii is a neat little Google Maps mashup site that plots Wii owners around the world. The neat part is that you can sort by games they own and players can enter their Wii friend codes. Sure, it isn’t quite as elegant as Xbox Live, but it’s better than nothing.
The obvious crown jewel at the moment is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It may take a bit of extra work, but finally Wii owners can find competition around the world in a fairly convenient manner. Now, if only Nintendo would bother to integrate such a feature.

MapWii is a nice concept for a site, but it’s missing a key feature. Friend codes don’t work if only 1 person enters them, so choosing a bunch of people and randomly adding their codes is only going to waste space on your friend roster. Sites like http://www.nintendogamersonline.com actually use a MySpace friending system(as *well* as maps) to notify users when they are added as a friend, and even sends an email to each player with their friend codes.

Because online play without friend codes is way too slow I decide to make this Super sMASH bROS. Brawl Friend Code exchange site. Add you friend code, tell your friends, and make it popular. Post this link on any forum or site that you have access to. If it gets big enough I will be able to sponsor online tournaments.
You can search friends within your country, state, and city so that you can get the fastest online play.
P.S. the fastest internet connection that I have found is with a wired connection.
