If you’re a owner, you may feel like you’re often an after thought to most third party developers. Not so for , who has announced they currently have eight titles from their EA Sports franchises slated for the . Eight titles? Is it a blessing or a curse?

So, what are all these titles? Well, a little thought and detective work may discern some of them. Obviously there’s Madden , and also NCAA . There’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour, NBA Live and FIFA Soccer (all three had versions this past year for ). That gives the five titles. Throw in , EA’s new cartoon game that has been announced for the and that brings you to six. So what are the last two titles? It seems possible the might get another SSX title (though, where is the PS3/Xbox 360 SSX title?) and there’s always the possibility of one of the Street titles getting a port (think , and the newly rechristened NFL Tour).

That’s some serious support from EA. Regardless of what you think of the quality of their sports franchises, any gamer knows that EA’s support can save or kill a console (see Dreamcast). With Boom Blox already slated for a big Wii launch, it appears EA is one third party taking the ’s success quite seriously.
