Sonic the Hedgehog might be a little bit past his prime, but that’s still no reason for him to turn to a life of crime. That’s exactly what happened, though, when a hedgehog and a New Zealand man teamed up. Now, the man has been fined by a local court.
The man, William Singalargh, apparently picked up the small animal and threw it at a 15-year-old boy. The teen suffered a small welt and puncture holes on his leg from the animal hitting him. The hedgehog was recovered, but dead. Singalargh will pay a $545 fine, of which $389 will be paid to the victim. No further punishment was bestowed.
So, remember folks, stay away from Sonic and his seedy friends. They’ve turned to a life of crime, and you might get caught in the crossfire.
