After one of the longest primary seasons in recent memory, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton appear to have finally decided to settle things within the wrestling ring. That’s great and all, but real questions still persist. Does Hillary smell what Barack is cooking? Is Barack, as Hillary notes, truly a heel? Will there ever be a good wrestling game again? So many questions left unanswered.
What if politics were more like Pokemon? Well, one of the political parties would be guided by Meowth and Mew would be the equivalent of a Mount Rushmore type president, right? Well, something like that anyway.
Much has been made over the last week or so about comments made by presidential candidate Barack Obama referring to video games and gamers. Essentially, Obama said that parents needed to put their kids’ games away and be better parents. That doesn’t sound too controversial, but gamers on both sides of the political spectrum have taken it to mean a variety of different things. The truth, however uncomfortable, is that Obama didn’t mean that comment to be explicitly insulting, but neither is he a great supporter of gamers. Unfortunately for those who care, they are unlikely to find a presidential candidate who is.
