Interested in helping children? How altruistic of you! Now, what if you could help children and have fun at the same time? Fantastic! What if on top of all that, you could also make yourself smarter by doing so? Sound too good to be true? Joining the quickly crowded field of helping web games, Aid to Children is another vocabulary builder where correct answers get money donated to charity, or in this case World Vision. Now where else on the web are you going to kill three birds with one stone?

Yes, this is basically FreeRice II: The Quickening. Regardless, Answer4Earth is still a fun game and it’s for a good cause. Answer random trivia questions and help plant a tree. What’s neat is that the difficulty of the questions auto-adjusts to how well you’re doing. It isn’t exactly how you’d like it to work maybe, but it’s fair enough for a web based game. And again, it is for a good cause. Now, are there possibly any more humanitarian games out there?

No, today’s game isn’t about customizing your 1998 Toyota Corolla. Don’t worry, that game is surely in the works. Instead, FreeRice is a vocabulary quiz game that’s fun for a good cause. For every answer you get correct, the site donates 20 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program to help end hunger. Is a vocabulary quiz game actually fun? It’s strangely addictive mostly due to the fact that for once in a game, your high score actually means something. Be sure to comment below with your high score.
